Basketball Clubs in Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia has a passionate basketball community concentrated in and around Halifax. Basketball Nova Scotia governs provincial competition and has worked to expand programs beyond the HRM into smaller communities. The Dartmouth-Halifax corridor has several established clubs with strong coaching depth. Nova Scotia players regularly compete at Atlantic regional championships and the national club circuit. The province punches above its weight at the U Sports level and has a strong culture of community coaching. It is the largest basketball province in Atlantic Canada by program volume.
